Direct School Admission (DSA) Exercise for 2027 Secondary 1 Cohort

At Presbyterian High School (PHS), we firmly believe in the importance of developing every student to his or her fullest potential. It is our mission to provide all our students with opportunities for a balanced, broad-based education and all-round development through the school’s holistic programmes.

We seek to develop our students in the various domains and, importantly, to shape and mould their character, and build them to become active and concerned citizens who will serve their communities. It is our desire that every PHS graduand will be exemplary in action, word and deed, living out the school’s vision of Passionate Learners, Servant Leaders and Stewards of Tomorrow.

The school is inviting applications for DSA in the following talent areas:

(1)   ALP: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

(2)   LLP: Community and Youth Leadership

(3)   Sports: Badminton (Boys only), Basketball, Table Tennis and Volleyball

(4)   Performing Arts: Guzheng Ensemble and Concert Band

DSA Expectations

Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school, and participate in the activities related to the talent they are selected for from Secondary 1 to 4. They will NOT be allowed to participate in the annual S1 Posting to opt for secondary schools. However, if they are eligible for third language and/or Posting Group options, they may enter these options during the School Choice Submission period via the S1 Posting. They will also NOT be allowed to transfer to another school after the release of the PSLE results.

Application Procedure

Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. The application is free-of-charge and will be open from 6 May 2026, 11am to 2 Jun 2026, 4.30pm. For more details, please refer to MOE website – www.moe.gov.sg/dsa-sec.

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants will receive notification from the school by 17 July 2026 to undergo Direct School Admission (DSA) selection. All applicants will receive their application outcomes between 17 to 28 Aug 2026.
